Our first port was George Town, Grand Cayman. We actually had to set an alarm for this trip! We had an excursion scheduled which meant we had to meet at 6:30 in the morning! We opted to have room service breakfast that day to make sure we weren't late! Grand Cayman does not have a cruise ship port so you have to tender into the island (meaning you take a smaller boat from the ship). Our excursion took us to Stingray City. Stingray City is a sandbar where a family of stingrays hang out. They are very tame and allow you to touch and hold them. Though shallow, the water was very choppy and made Ryan pretty hesitant. The other two kids really enjoyed it! After we got back from the excursion, we walked around town to shop and grab lunch. We ate at a place right on the water. The kids shared lobster mac & cheese and a fruit smoothie. I enjoyed crab cakes and Bobby had conch salad and turtle soup! Back on the boat, more naps were taken and Matthew and Molly enjoyed ice skating...on a boat...in the middle of the ocean!
