Last week the Eagles made their way to Springfield to complete in the class 5 state softball championships. They lost a close semi-final game 8-6. Molly had two doubles and pitched well but a few too many errors and bats that got cold cost us the game. Feeling pretty down, the girls didn't really show up for the 3rd/4th place game and we lost 5-0. Molly came in for the last two innings allowing 0 hits/runs and striking out 4. Though they felt a little deflated after the tournament they should be extremely proud for what they accomplished this season.
