Handprints

A few years back we were visiting a friend of my mom's. On her wall she had hung molded hand prints of her grandchildren. These particular hand prints looked like they were made out of metal but I thought it was a very neat decorative idea. On a baby board I frequent which has other mom's who gave birth in February of '09, I found this woman's blog. She is very good about showing homemade craft ideas. She's very organized and creative. I decided to give the dough hand prints a shot. They are currently baking and I'm anxious to see how they turn out. I will post pictures of the finished product. I was thinking that if I do want to give mine a metallic appearance, an investment in some metallic spray paint may do the trick.
