Back when I was nesting in anticipation of Molly's arrival, I took time to clean out the linen closet. We have company coming two times this week so my house cleaning today started once again with the linen closet. I couldn't help but wonder just how many towels a family of five needs. Right now I have: master bath towels, plain guest towels, kids towels to match their bathroom decor, character hooded towels and beach towels. It kind of reminds me of the episode of Friends when they were having the contest for the apartment:
Ross: Monica categorizes her towels. How many categories are there?
Joey: Everyday use.
Chandler: Fancy.
Joey: Guest.
Chandler: Fancy guest.
Ross: Two seconds...
Joey: Uh, eleven!
Ross: 11. Unbelievable. 11 is correct.

There are only two of us but I have enough towels for us and all my company when they come:) I don't think you can ever have enough.
