After the Rock the Crossroads run back in July, my boss Bill vowed he would do another run with me (but that he got to pick the race!). He chose the Leawood Labor Day 5K. I hadn't run in ten days and I've been sick so didn't preform as well as I did two weeks ago. Still, I kept it to 9 minute, 10 second mile pace and Bill shaved 5 minutes off of his personal best! I get to choose our next race together. I'm leaning towards October 3rd in Independence.
