MJ and I decided to make Easter cookies today. We made the dough, chilled it, rolled it and cut out shapes (bunnies, chicks and crosses if you can't tell). When it came time to decorate I pulled out an icing that I had purchased on a whim at the store a while back. IT. IS. FABULOUS. This packet frosted 3 dozen cookies with the royal icing consistency I fell in love with at Christmastime. I didn't decorate to terribly fancy this time around but I like how the icing hardens quickly which allows them to be stacked and stored. This will be my go-to icing from now on.
