I'm in Love

While at my parents I had the pleasure of using the Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer that were in their condo. I was in heaven. Not only did they have a digital display so I knew how much time was left on each load, my clothes were dry in only one cycle. For the record, the load in my current dryer is on it's 3rd cycle to dry. Obviously something is wrong and it's ridiculous that it takes a day to do a load of clothes. For those of you who love your washer and dryer, a few questions:

1) Top loader or front loader?
2) Pedestals with the front loader? Why or why not
3) Matching set?
4) What size capacity do you recommend and is it sufficient for your needs?

I had to get the duet sport b/c our "laundry room" is on the 2nd floor so for size and weight we were advised to go with that model. I WISH I could have the largest capacity they make! I would recommend you get the biggest one you can afford! My friend just bought new ones...I think Bosch....she said Laundry is one of her favorite things now! I guess you can't really put a price on that now, can you?? ;-)

I don't know much about them but I do know that Jeff and Colleen couldn't use the pedestals as they have cabinets above which you do too and that made them too tall.

All I have to say is don't buy anything from Sears. Our 7 year old washing machine broke and Sears customer service was horrible.
