Fast forward to this morning, I woke RJ up at 5:00 a.m. to bring him down to the hospital for his fifth, yes FIFTH set of ear tubes. These so-called permanent tubes should help his ever recurrent ear infections. For RJ, the tubes work when they're in, the problem is, the anatomy of his ears somehow makes them wiggle out prematurely. Here's hoping they get us through cold and flu season.

He is a pro at this surgery thing. Wish he would never have to go through anymore though as he's had his share.
