Another Surgery

We found out today that Ryan will be having another surgery on August 9th. The surgery he had in spring of 2016 we thought would fix the turning out of his right foot. It did fix the problem on his left foot but his right one still turns out horribly. If you look at the x-ray below, the left picture shows his foot in the right position, the right one shows his kneecap in the correct position. As you can see, you cannot align both at the same time.  The good news is that it should be an easy recovery. Outpatient surgery followed by a short leg waterproof cast that he can immediately weight bear on. Plus, it will be a week before school starts so he'll have time to get used to it.  On a scale of Ryan surgeries, this should be a pretty easy one. Hopefully!
