After the excitement of opening presents Christmas Day, we quickly loaded up the car and made a beeline for Mission, Texas. Last spring, my parents purchased a winter home there and we were excited to help them break it in. We made it a two day trip stopping in Waco along the way. I enjoyed shopping at Magnolia Farms. The kids had some amazing experiences including a visit across the border to Mexico, dinner on the Rio Grande, eating authentic Mexican tamales and swimming outdoors in December. Most importantly, he kids got to spend some quality time with their grandparents and Uncle Richie. Thanks for having us mom and dad!
