College Credit!

 

Matthew took AP Euro this year as a sophomore.  Unbeknownst to us, AP Euro has a reputation of being the hardest AP class available.  He struggled all year with the class.  Even though he knew the content perfectly, he was not able to format his answers to the teacher's liking and at one point we were hoping he would just pass the class.  At the end of the year, students in AP classes take a final AP exam that does not go toward their course grade or GPA but is rather graded by a college board to determine if they have earned college credit for that class.  Matthew not only passed his exam but earned 3 hours of college credit!  He was recognized by our district for his achievement
