MJ has always loved the water. It's amazing how our visits to the pool have changed. Two years ago (he was 1) I had to hold his hand as he carefully attempted the navigate the baby pool. Last year, he was sturdier on his feet but would occasionally slip and get his face wet which would undoubtedly result in a meltdown. This year, totally different kid! Plop some water wings on the kid and he's jumping in off the side, going under water and "swimming". Not wanting to give him a false sense of security, he is starting swim lessons this week. I sometimes think I need to check him for gills.
