In 2010 I'm going to....

1) Take a wine tasting class. I am going to learn about wine and see if I can find
something that I can drink without cringing.

2) Take a knife skills class. I want to learn to chop like Rachel Ray

3) Lose weight. With numbers 1 and 2 this might be counterproductive.

4) Get organized. We have too much crap and I want to streamline my household

5) Follow a budget. We've already enlisted the help of our financial advisor on this one. We know we could be saving more than we do and we hope to accomplish this by following more of a budget than what we currently have (which is none).

What are your resolutions this year?

Have you tried Rieslings? They're pretty light for non-wine drinkers. I like Chateau San Michelle. Otherwise, for reds, you might try red wine sangria with lots of fruit. It's a great way to get used to drinking wine without as much of the dry taste.

Good luck with your resolutions!

I would try Moscato D'Asti. There are several brands out there and it pretty much taste like champagne! Hopefully that doesn't make you cringe?! Shelly and I love it! --Kathryn

Katherine, you're the second person to recommend that wine. Apparently they have it at Olive Garden?

Yes, I do believe I've had it at Olive Garden. Although I don't know if it's "seasonal" or all the time. --Kathryn
