Serious Baseball

MJ had his first baseball practice Wednesday night. A couple of weeks ago, I attended a "Baseball 101" meeting. This meeting was for parents of kids who are starting T-Ball for the first time with our local athletic association. They were very clear about one thing: this is serious stuff. There will be a winner and a loser. There will be strikes. There will be outs. Each child is required to bring their own, bat, glove, cleats and batting helmet. Seriously? These kids are 5 and 6! Luckily we seem to have a wonderful, caring coach but it is a little intimidating. Due to all of the stuff he's required to haul, I ordered the above backpack from Amazon. Hopefully he doesn't fall backward while carrying it!

That backpack is so cool, where were those when we all played softball back in the day?! I did however laugh out loud at your last sentence!! I hope he doesn't fall backwards either... Good luck with baseball MJ!
