A Crazy Day

In the middle of the night last night, Molly came in our room, said she had gotten sick, felt better and went to sleep in our floor. She woke up, still sick, with 103.6 fever. She wasn't able to keep anything down and started complaining of belly pain.

Our pediatrician has weekend urgent care hours so I called the neighbor to stay with the boys (Bobby was playing in a golf tournament) and brought her in.

The ran labs which came back showing she had an infection so they sent us to the ER for an ultrasound of her belly to rule out appendicitis....which we thought it did.
They give her anti-nausea meds and told her that if she could keep liquids down, we
Could go home. Appendix was fine....but it wasn't.

The report was incorrectly read. She DOES have appendicitis and will be having surgery in the morning. She's a trooper though a little scared.
She's sleeping soundly now.
